We had been in St Lucia in 2006 on a cruise for a only a few hours but the St. Lucia island's people made such an impression on us that we had to come back. This is where customer service was invented! It is not just at our location, it is a mindset that permeates the entire island. Everyone smiles sincerely and are offering help wherever you go. The funny thing is that when you mention it to them, they act perplexed as if "Isn't this what everyone else in the world does?" this is truly a gem in the Caribbean .

Jalousie Plantation was recently renovated. This is unit #705. All units have a spectacular view. They are on a steep hill and shuttle transport to anywhere you want on the resort is almost mandatory unless you are in Super physical shape and like the abuse. Our unit was finely appointed in old British-Caribbean decor.
The atmosphere was of pure relaxation. Nu hurry, no worry, nothing but time to relax.
Anywhere you see a sunset from, it seemed different.
Jennie was our personal Butler. She was the Best! There wasn't anything we wanted that she didn't accomodate immediately. We wanted to bring her home with us. If you stay at the Jalousie Plantation request her. You will be glad you did.
Sunset on the deck of the Ladera Resort's restaurant. The resort sat higher on the mountain than our's and you could see a spectacular sunset.
There was a private beach at the bottom of the Jalousie Plantation. Lillian loved that all beach lounge chairs had a red flag you could raise whenever you wanted a drink, snack or towels or whatever your desire. Just sit back and sip on Coconut Milk or you favorite drink.
There is an abundance of flowers everywhere and this is December!

The Petite Piton. Though Enlish is the official language, the French influence is still seen in the local's Patois (pronounced PATWA or PATUA)

Christmas Eve at the Ladera Resort Restaurant. Each plate came with a gift and inside was a folded hat.

She did very well for her first time practicing archery. She even got a few bullseyes

The flowers at the Botanical Gardens are a sight to see.
Francois was our driver to tour the island. He is a sweet man and we requested him as our preferred taxi. If you ever go to St. Lucia, be sure to ask for Francois. He is the BEST driver on the island.
Like I said, there are no two sunsets that are the same.

I keep tellin ya, every sunset is another beauty. We didn't miss one.
